Book Reviews/Book Reports

This part of the website is where I tell you about the books that I've read and see if I recommend them to you. Most likely I'll recommend all the books since I absolutely love reading. Anyways please don't distribute my writing without giving me a link back because it takes a while to write all this stuff. Writing isn't one of my favorite things to do so I put a lot of effort to make sense when writing. I usually don't make sense when I write because I have a hard time to describe things, like right now. @_@ Anyways enjoy and ah, yeah, enjoy!
WARNING: May contain spoilors so be careful when reading my book reviews/reports. May also contain terrible reviewing skills, I'm still learning. x_x

After a while Gemma makes friends with some of the girls at Spence. She soon learns that her mother is in a group called the Order. My Thoughts:
I think that A Great and Terrible Beauty is an AMAZING book. I recommend it to all book lovers and give it a 5/5. I think the age group for this book is 13 and up because it does have some inappropriate content for young readers. I hope you will read it, besides my bad book review/report of the book. ^^"

Main Character: Robert Langdon

The Da Vinci Code takes place in the present age in Paris.

He is then helped by Sophie Neveu to prove that he is innocent and is somehow mixed up in a new problem. Why was Jacques Saunière murdered and what is the mystery behind the Holy Grail? Somehow Jacques Saunière has led Robert Landon and Sophie Neveu into a maze of puzzles about the Holy Grail, Leonardo da Vinci's paintings and the group called The Priory of Sion after his death.
My Thoughts:
I thought that this was a really good book. I don't usually read mysteries much but this one was a really well put together mystery. Even though there were some parts that I found somewhat boring, all the action and stuff made up for it. It makes you wonder weither or not if there really is a God out there and points out stuff that you've never noticed before. This book isn't intented to make people think that there isn't a God and Jesus it's just something to entertain you with. So don't take offense when reading it if you find it offensive....eh...^^; Anyways, the age group is most likely 13+ because some parts younger readers might not understand since this book was probably intended for adults. Well anyways, I give it a 4/5

The Faerie Path

Author:Frewin Jones
Genre(s): Fantasy
Other: There is a sequel, can't remember what it's called though. Sorry. ^^;;
Main Character: Anita/Tania

Setting:
Present and Middle Ages-ish
Summary:

She soon is lost between her love of her past and the current boy she was supposed to marry before her disappearence. She slowly starts to understand and soon finds out that she a magical ability to stop the evil threatening the land of Faerie. She must figure out how to use and figure where she belongs before it is too late.
My Thoughts:
At first I thought it would be one of those books that I found interesting while reading it, but I'd forget all about it after I was done but surprisingly it was quite good. Even though my summary of The Faerie Path isn't very well written and doesn't exactly persuade you to read it, it's quite good. The Faerie Path is one of those books that I like, fighting, a bit of romance, and fantasy. Sadly I don't think there was any comedy in it, but that's ok. I guess the fantasy made up for it. There wasn't much fighting that I expected there were to be but yeah, it was pretty good overall. I think the age group for this book is 12+. I rate it, a 4/5.
