I wrote this pretty recently. (At the time of writing I have about a quarter left of 5t grade) This is about some bad dreams Ive had that seem to haunt me. Not my best, but it helped =)
Little demons that haunt my thoughts Parasites that eat at my logic They play with my sight They play with my mind They creep in my shadows And control my every feeling Never ending plague of horror They eat up every little bit of reality. They twist and turn my innocent thoughts, Turning them into disturbing images Terrorists, rapists, robbers, and horrors All frightening my guiltless head I close my eyes in fright I shield my ears in terror These violent thoughts won’t escape my head! I lie down in my bed, and close my eyes Escaping the fears with heartfelt sighs
